On my way to the Chopin gravesite at Père Lachaise I walked past the grave of Arman and was intrigued by his epitaph "Enfin Seul!". I admit I did not know Arman yet, and decided to look up some information on the internet. I am glad I found this website. It is a great starting point to get to know the work of Arman.

J'ai passé trois années à patiner les bronzes d'Arman pour la fonderie Bocquel... Ce site me rappelle de magnifiques expériences artistiques, en particulier les accumulations de violoncelles que je patinais avec beaucoup de passion! Je ne l'ai croisé que de trop rares fois, mais j'ai le souvenir d'un homme qui avait ce besoin vital de créer, inlassablement, même lorsque la fatigue et la santé l'abandonnait... Encore bravo pour ce site!
